Denis M. Taschuk, CA, Chairman and director, is a partner and Chief Executive Officer of JAG flocomponents LP, a manufacturer of valves for the oil and gas industry. He was Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President of Finance and Administration for Cytovax Biotechnologies Inc. Prior to that he was Manager of Canadian Tax for Echo Bay Mines Ltd. He has over 20 years experience in the mining industry particularly in the areas of corporate finance and tax.
David R. Webb, B.A.Sc. (Engineering) M.Sc., Ph.D., P.Geol., President & CEO, Director, has over 30 years experience in gold exploration and mine development at Cominco, Gulf Minerals, the Geological Survey of Canada and in property acquisition evaluations for several private and junior companies. He is also a Director of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Chamber of Mines.
Roger G. Sylvestre, Dipl.T., Exec. Vice President, Director, is a co- founder of Tyhee Development Corp and brings to his position more than 45 years experience in the mining and drilling Industries in over 20 different countries. He is Owner-President of Roger’s Drilling Services Inc. Canada and former Owner- President of Roger’s Drilling Services Inc. USA which he sold in 1990. In 1989 he founded Cassandra Resources Inc. a TSX listed public company and served as President until 1993. Roger is a graduate of British Columbia Institute of Technology in Business Administration.
Dave Nickerson, M.Sc., P.Eng., Director, is a Professional Engineer and Geologist with vast experience in the NWT. He is a former Chairman of the NWT Water Board, a former MLA, NWT and a former Minister of Health & Social Services, and a former Member of Parliament.
Bill Burton, P.Eng., Director, was previously the General Manager for Echo Bay’s Lupin Mine and held other senior executive positions with Echo Bay Mines Ltd. He is currently VP Operations for Western Canadian Coal Corp.
